My HCBW needs a big surgery but isn't currently on my insurance or any insurance (long story short - thought we had a short time before an anticipated job but it's not ending up being short so I didn't ad her to my current work insurance....).

Are there good options to sign up for that are temp insurance plans? I know others have mentioned in the past that Aflac had a good option but I don't know if that's still the case.

Not real keen on paying $10k out of pocket - just looking for good alternatives.
