Fantastic clubs, most slightly used or store demos with huge discounts. Something like the Epic, rogue or xr irons is a great place for a newbie to start. Buy a set with a sand wedge if you are a beginner, high end wedges can run you $500 for a set and are not necessary unless you are a good player.
Those irons would last you 10 years and you can keep even as you improve. With the woods I would go to a golf shop and hit some on the simulator to see if you can keep it in pay. Then buy used online. I just bought last year an epic sub zero fairway wood with a fujikura pro shaft for $140. It hadn’t ever been hit before. It was an insane deal.
If you start playing regularly get custom fit. A place like cool clubs or something. It is well worth the money. Pros would never hit clubs right off the rack...no need for you too either.
