He said he thought Dastrup was on track to have a really good
Year but then he left

Dave also mentioned that he struggled understanding millennials. He said he studied (books, getting advice, etc) learning how to deal with them. He gave the example of not knowing how to react when a player walks out of practice
Dave said he relied on Cummard to help him understand/deal with players

He also mentioned that he went through a lot of difficult health stuff behind the scenes. Didn’t miss any games but missed some practices

Also, he said doesn’t miss coaching and he doesn’t think he ever will. He said the cancer has caused him to take a different perspective on life
