Friday's Five: Nostalgic 90s
Superkid's thread put me in the mood to post another Friday's Five. So here are five more songs that make me nostalgic for the 90s.

Material Issue: Valerie Loves Me (1991)
Material Issue opening for INXS was the second best pairing I've seen at a concert (after The The opening for Depeche Mode). While I have a soft spot for "Kim the Waitress", and I think "What Girls Want" and "Trouble" might be better songs, Valerie remains my first love.

Inspiral Carpets: This Is How it Feels (1990)
Unless you count James, Inspiral Carpets is my favorite band associated with the Madchester scene. "This Is How it Feels", "Saturn 5", "Commercial Reign", and "Two Worlds Collide" just seemed bigger than most of what the scene offered.

Ned's Atomic Dustbin: Gray Cell Green (1991)
This may be their best song, but I think "Happy" is my favorite, notwithstanding "Kill Your Television".

Moonpools & Caterpillars: Hear (1995)
Sweet, but not cloying. "Ren" is just as good.

The House of Love: I Don't Know Why I Love You (1990)
In a garden in the house of love I'd, sit and listen to this or "Shine On" and feel like a moody teen all over again.
