Worst. Battle plan. Ever.

Sending the Dothraki to their annihilation seemed a dumb way to start the battle, but it never really got better. If the Night King merely takes a nap, everyone’s dead, including Bran. No major character buys it in a battle where they’re getting slaughtered—yeah right.

I was sold a bill of goods on the unpredictability of the series. Then the big pivotal battle looks like every other Hollywood production. Last minute, unrealistic hero-saving-the-day moment. All the main characters live. Insurmountable bad guy dies in unimpressive fashion and his minions all go down at once....

Very anticlimactic. A million different fan theories, most of them much more interesting than the actual way the story played out, died at once. Part of the intrigue of the series went down with them.
