you're thinking of doing something rash/stupid, go put the baby down in its crib/bed and put yourself into a short time out until you can regain your composure. If baby is still crying, it's time to check if it is hungry or needs a diaper change. If not, it's time to consider that baby doesn't feel well and it might be time to talk to a doctor. Baby's aren't vindicitive and don't cry just to piss you off. When they're crying, it means a physical need needs looking after.
