"Go Cougs" is just a terrible greeting/ catch phrase. There is no history or

momentum behind it. The first time I remember hearing the phrase was only a couple of years ago. Half the awkwardness is first trying to determine what the person is referring to. The other half is trying to figure out how to reply to this inane salutation.
