Booster. I guarantee you, Ute fans, coaches and admin care about the BYU game big time. They obsess over it. It’s extremely important to them. They see it as a very critical game not only for the rivalry aspect but they want to be seen as the best team in Utah. Perception can effect recruiting and their boosters put a lot of pressure on kwhitt to win that game. Believe me, no one on the hill is happy or even acting like it’s not that big of a deal if they lose to BYU. It’s a very big deal and they prepare for it as hard if not harder than any other game. We always see some new wrinkles from them. They do everything they possibly can to win that game, in fact it’s that extra passion, effort and determination, desperation? To win that game that May have made the difference for them in winning some of those close games. Any Ute fan who claims otherwise is either being dishonest or is delusional IMO.
