I mean - there are certainly some that I love much more than others.

And if they are doing or saying dumb things, then that effects my opinion of them.

But for the most part - if they are playing, I have a hard time disliking them. I always figure that they are doing the best that they can. They want to win - more than I want them to win most of the time. So if the coaches have them on the field, it's because they give BYU the best chance to win. Which means I want them on the field too. They have their limitations, as we all do, but if they are the best we've got - I'm glad we've got them!

Anyway - taking that approach has helped me to not get as worked up over losses due to what are perceived as inferior players. They may be inferior - but they are the best we've got, and they are putting in a lot of time, energy, and dedication for my entertainment.
