And a guy walks in and says, “Doc can you fix it?” He points to a 1.5 inch hole on the top of his foot...I could see his ligaments and even the metatarsals. Guy’s diabetic ulcer had eaten through his foot and anesthetized all the way down to the bone. Needless to say this guy never took his diabetes medication. Ended up with an amputation. If you have diabetes....do whatever it takes to get it under control.
