What's the possibility that ESPN is trying to push BYU to an all ESPN+ TV deal?
Seems like the TV negotiations are taking a long time. I mean, we are only talking about BYU selling 5 home football games, per year. It is not a big thing to negotiate.
My concern with ESPN is that they could try to push more of BYU's home games to ESPN+ (as opposed to ESPN/2 or ESPNU).
Is that a bad thing for BYU? Exposure would be much less.
I suppose we'll probably hear about a new ESPN TV deal in 1 month, when BYU has its media day.

The only problem is that recruits care about exposure. Better exposure better chance at getting good recruits.
