Opposite is true. Stats understate his play. Teammates can't shoot, causing him
to receive blanket double team defense and reducing the effectiveness of his brilliant passing which should have resulted in more assists. Also BYU bigs last year fumbled more passes than they caught, reducing his assists and increasing TJ turnovers.
TJ was the only reliable clutch performer on the team last season and will go down as an all time BYU great.
