...of course he's going to pay compliments to opposing players, especially right before they play. There are quite a few good PG's in the WCC through last season with several returning. It's tough to objectively compare TJ with Jordan Ford (for example) and say that TJ is a better PG. It's no different when you compare him with a PG like Colbey Ross of Pepperdine.
I think you can easily make the case that he's one of the better PG's in the WCC but I suspect Mark Few's using a superlative like "best" to describe TJ was him just being classy towards an opponent.
