I think it should happen but..
Personally don't see it shaking up the wireless industry that much except for the better. I'd imagine that wireless providers wouldn't be offering side perks if it were for T-Mobile Tuesday and the other things they give away such as Netflix.
VZW and ATT both have pretty solid footing in the wireless arena and other telecoms are already kind of entering the market as well (spectrum, comcast). I don't see the merger effecting it that much.
