Of course, but then pulling out those back wheels are back behind you and your
turning radius is back to normal. So either you do a 3 point turn backing in or coming out, all else being equal. If you can pull forward and out without a 3 point turn, you could have pulled in going forward without a 3 point turn.

It is safer, you can see better when pulling out, and if you have a pickup you can pull in farther over a curb though. I’m not saying it’s a bad idea at all.
