He did get a scholarship to BYU and his brother is currently going there, so
he turned down all of his other school offers.
His coaches and teammates don't understand...but he really wanted to go to BYU and I think he is ready to move on. He will continue to run recreationally...but I am not sure running 7ks and 10ks while trying to work on his degree was really what he thought he had enough passion to do.
