Mighty Thug Dog Walk-on
We held our youngest son back from kindergarten. Best thing we could have done.
He had an August b-day, had a speech concern and was a late thumb sucker. He was upset that his friends started kindergarten and he didn't. All through elementary he would drop comments about how he should have been in the grade above, etc.

Fast forward to Jr. High/High School and he realized that he was bigger, more mature than his friends and he excelled at sports. He went to stake trek when a lot of his peers were not yet old enough. It just so happened that he was able to go to two. The first one with his older brother and the second with his younger sister. He had some real cool moments on both treks.

He also could drive and date before his peers. He has actually told Sis. Thug Dog and I thank you for holding him back.

He is currently rocking it in the Philippines. He waited until the end of the summer to go, so he was 19 before he left.
