With as many BYU runners as we'll have in the field, it presents a tremendous advantage to BYU to run a more strategic, advantageous race. Couple that with a lack of Grant Fisher, Morgan McDonald, etc. and BYU has a clear route to winning it this year. Rory Linkletter has placed 2nd in year's passed, Clayton Young has a lot of poise in big races, and Conner Mantz could just go out and grind to a win with the likes of Kigen from Alabama and Kipkoech from Campbell.
