It seems odd to have a 5000-6000 sf house and a yard so small you can barely fit a set of patio furniture. These homes were prob built in the 2000-2005 year range. Zillow estimate is around $1M. I guess the situation is prob similar for new homes built anywhere in Utah Co, especially in East Lehi. To me, this adds to the appeal to buying an older home that may need some work, but is located on an established street with bigger yards.
Obviously, this has been going on for a long time in higher cost areas (ie California), but I think the difference is that in CA you don’t find as many 5000+ sf homes stuffed onto the smaller lots.
