One year in a maximum security prison would be horrifically bad. You’d lose your job and might have a hard time getting back on your feet. And your experience in a maximum-security prison would probably include all kinds of violence and other horrific acts. Hard pass.

I could make the shot, especially in an empty gym. But in this scenario the nerves would be intense and I think many of us would fail. And the whole time I think we’d be more fearful of the prison time than excited about the money.
