Ear.
I was a teenager and just happened to be in Vegas with my dad and brother on the night that fight happened.
We happened to be on the Strip when it ended, and not knowing what happened, the streets filled with thousands of angry African Americans.
My dad, a Native American rancher, dressed in wranglers and wearing a cowboy hat, turns to me and my brother and says, in a voice easily heard by the crowds around us, “I’ve never seen so many black hookers before.”
As soon as he said those words about half a dozen Black men turned and looked at my dad and us and one even had his hand in his suit jacket. For a second we just stopped and held our breath, then they all just turned away and kept walking
Yep, to this day me and my brother remind my dad about the time he almost got us killed in Vegas.
