letting him use the front yard for it. All the materials were in our backyard while the beast took place in the front yard. My son, his wife, and new baby lived in it for about 15 months before they sold it to some other sucker and actually made some equity so they could buy a real house.
Thank goodness they moved it to a friends rv pad a few months after it was built so we didn’t have it the whole time. However, we still have leftover materials scattered around our backyard three years later. I’m convinced it only works if you have someone to mooch off of that provides free parking and utilities. If you’re always doing outdoor adventures then it just becomes a big tent and it works fine. It doesn’t work at all as a home.
So my son loved it and his wife hated it. My wife thought it was great at first but when it finally dawned on her that we were (and still are) being used, she grew to despise it.
