The consensus is drive hwy 1 up Big Sur to SF, up to the Oregon coast, and northern Nevada back to SLC

What other ideas do you guys have?

LA to Vegas, stay there for 5 days, Vegas to St George, St George to Beaver, Beaver to Provo, Provo to SLC
