I guess you need to decide if you want driving every day to see something new
or if you just want to hit fewer spot for 2-3 days each.
You could spend a week in any of the places mentioned, so you’d hate to feel like you only got half a day there even if you cover a lot of ground.

You have 6 days to road trip from LA to SLC. Where to do you go?

Profit. Usually can recoup the cost of the whole trip by the time I'm done

a dive? You're doing Vegas wrong if you think it's a dive. If you're traveling on a tighter budget then I'd go check

You and your wife or are you taking kids also?
RC Vikings

No kids, just wife and I. Another option is fly to Phoenix and hit natl parks

With just you and the wife I think what you are planning would be great

There are some cool national parks on the other side of CA up into Oregon

6 days is a ton of time I would keep going north and come through Oregon.

You have two viable options, both of which avoid Nevada.

LA is not a great jumping off point for the Oregon Coast. SLC is closer in

Oregon kills you time wise. I’d go up coast to SF, cut over to yosemite ride the

I'd go Hwy 1. It's really a drive everyone should do at least once.
