The kids who play for the top-level teams within clubs like La Roca probably
will have the opportunity to play college ball.
Where the racket kicks in is when clubs have 2nd, 3rd, and 4th teams within an age group. Parents of kids on those teams are probably delusional to think their kids will play in college. The lower-level teams are big money-makers and really subsidize the clubs.
Then again, puberty can be a game-changer and kids can move from the lower level teams to the top team. So who knows?
