Yesterday was an especially long day for church meetings for me so my daughter (15) texted me and asked if she could have a few friends over for games. I said that was okay as long as mom was good with it.

I finally finished up and got home about 7 PM and walked into this in the front room. There were an additional 8 other kids at the kitchen table playing games. When she asked I was not expecting to have roughly 20+ neighbor kids at the house.

But I love board games and will spend hours and hours playing with my kids, so my daughter knew how to exploit her true plans of the evening.

Though I had to eat my dinner in the other room. 🙂
