This will be the prime example that people bring up when talking about returning a player too soon from injury. Arguably the best player in the league, in the summer before a massive free agency opportunity with hundreds of millions of dollars at stake, comes back from injury too soon and tears his achilles.

They will talk about this with physical therapists, trainers, team docs, coaches, players, agents, fans...you name it. This injury will be massively impactful well beyond this series and this summer.

As for Durant, this is just horrific. The data on these injuries is bad. Rarely does anyone return to be the same player that they were pre-injury. I never really liked the guy as a player but I feel horrible for him.

And finally, I don't ever want to hear about the kindness of Canadians again with regards to Raptors fans. It's all a farce. That was the most disrespectful reaction to an injury I have ever seen in my life from a large group of fans.
