Considering that Wilson only played half a season and his best game was against a middling g5 team, I think that's a fair assessment right now.
but as a guy who's watched BYU football since the days of Jim McMahon, I think Zach Wilson is the most talented quarterback BYU's had since Beck, and has the potential to be one of the great quarterbacks in BYU history. He certainly has the tools.
If the talent on the offensive side of the ball is there to go with Zach, I believe he will probably be rated in the top 25 of quarterbacks by the end of the season.
Wilson is one of the major reasons why I am fairly optimistic about this upcoming season.
the fact that Wilson will be with the same offensive coordinator and offensive staff has got to be a big plus going forward this year.
