Interesting. Thanks. This strikes me as odd, but I guess it is good

to know that other familys function this way. My inlaws have employeed a similar thing. My wife and I have been married for 10 years and I've always thought it was weird. My wife and I aren't big vacationers, not in the sense they are. We don't save all year for a Hawaii trip etc, we are happier to plan a couple weekend camping trips through the year and get away from people. They want to plan our family vacation every other year, and my wife and I would be happier doing something every 4 or 5 years as a big group with them. Its a touchy subject right now and was curious what others see as "normal". Thanks
