Yes. That too. I can’t see how that legally holds up.
I’ve just assumed it became an industry policy to post that. And now, with time, everyone basically knows that and accepts it as fact.
Although vehicle damage can certainly be a “he said; she said” scenario, I imagine those signs are equally worthless when it comes down to it.
