Early in the 1996 season both Mili and Lewis were getting a ton of reps. By late season, Mili had snagged the majority of reps and was a beast. The offense never fully recovered after Mili went down, though Lewis did his best to fill in.
Mili had 46 catches for 692 yards in an injury shortened season. Lewis had 37 for 420.
Lewis had the better pro career, but Mili was the man in college.
