in 1995, after wrapping up my career as a thrower on the track team. Itula was talented, but Chad was a 6'10" high jumper with amazing hands. Additionally, Chad outworked Itula every single day, or at least every day Itula actually showed up in the weight room, which was disappointingly infrequent.
In any event, I certainly carry a bias. Their on-field production was very similar, so the tie-breaker for me goes to the one who also exhibited discipline and leadership, which inspires and unites teams. That's a complete player, in my book. And that's Chad.
