If you said he "might" have been, like if such and such happened, and the whole thing is a coulda woulda situation, then ok. But what could have been and what was, are two different things. He's not at the top of the list for BYU. That's all I'm saying. What he potentially could have been doesn't matter.

And yes I watched that team. And yes, it is largely about numbers. It's a production-based position, not something like OL. He may have looked great out there but so did others, and they had the numbers to go with it. Nation's leader in yards, record-breaking TE numbers, etc. A few guys just did crazy things at BYU.
