To be fair to you, your post wasn't even close to being the ones that amused me the most. And to be fair- it was very
hard to know what to expect- from either team, really.
Utah was probably the bigger mystery. Prior to the Urban years, Utah was pretty mediocre.
But even BYU was a mystery. At the time, over half of BYU's wins came under one man- LaVell. His tenure at BYU was outstanding. But the team was pretty bad before he got there. And then, after one great year under Crowton... boom.
I was most amused by the original post. The certainty that Whit would be fired seemed pretty strong.
