What does your company use for training materials and solutions for employees?

Do you have in-house people specifically devoted to creating and administering trainings, or is it a function of HR? Do you bring in consultants to help on those fronts, or farm it out to contractors? If you contract it out, how do you find them?

We have an L&D department. Everything new that comes down the pipeline goes through them.

They toss us into some special high intensity training stuff that just stinks.

We have a people department. They do it all through automated quizzes and optional live lectures.
