Anyone that has ever been stuck in the throngs of people out on the mezzanines at halftime of the games trying to go to the bathroom or attempting to buy a hot dog is going to appreciate this immensely. Also not having to walk all the way down to ground level and then across a distance to get to a bathroom will be a huge improvement for people and of course an alleviation in the length of the lines to both go to the bathroom and buy some food will be a great thing.
And not having to go so far, walking up and then down and up and down again to get around is going to be very nice.
The improvements are going to be continual, this is hardly the end of them, but they had to pick some order to do them and this one was pretty badly needed IMO. Greater access around the stadium with less crowding to contend with is going to be pretty nice. Shorter lines for bathrooms and concessions will definitely be a welcome change.
But mostly I think the thing we should be taking away from this is that they are sinking millions into improving the football stadium, which is a sign of support for the program, it’s not going anywhere, they’re serious about the program itself. It is a long term show of commitment to having a program.
