I have always gotten knee pain from running and about five years back just decided I wasn’t doing it anymore. But I like it, it’s cheap, and it’s low overhead (no need to drive the gym, etc.). So I bought some shoes for heavier runners specifically and I’m trying it.
I’m in very poor cardiovascular shape although I’ve been lifting for a while, so today was run for a minute, walk for 30 secs but I’ll stick with it and go slow. Hoping to be able to keep at it this time without any new knee pain if I take it easy enough.
