That’s because it was far more than a facelift — practically a new stadium. As I
said above, BYU wouldn’t need to spend hundreds of millions of dollars to upgrade LaVell Edwards stadium to a more classy fit and finish.
Instead, some genius in the athletic department thinks if we paint elevator columns and put oval-Y logos on every available surface, it will make up for the fact that the stadium is finally starting to show its age.
