I am a big android guy but when it comes to tablets I would go with an ipad.
Pay the $300-$400 for an ipad and call it good. But if you really want an android based tablet get the higher end Samsung models. Don't waste time with the lower end tablets. You will regret it in a year when it is slow and takes forever to get from one applications to the next. The ipads or higher end samsung tablets will last much longer.
