In football you signed up for the hits and know it’s coming.
In baseball you are expecting a competitive pitch over the plate only to be blindsided by a pitch aimed at your grill. Not cool.
There’s also a difference in intent. The beanball is a deliberate attempt to injure for reasons that have. I thing to do with advancing your team’s ability to win the game. There’s no place for that.
