I live in semi-perpetual fear of vertigo attacks.
Until this gets straightened out, you want to maintain good blood flow to your inner ear to help it heal. To do that, no caffeine, tons of water, and reduced salt intake. If you’re not peeing constantly, you’re not drinking enough. Also, keep some meclizine on hand. It can be a life saver. At the first sign of dizziness, take some. By the time you’re puking it’s too late because you can’t keep it down long enough for it to work. I keep a bottle at work, in my car, and at home. Walmart sells a generic bottle behind the pharmacy desk that is way cheaper than the brand name stuff.
