WSM has shifted to be more of a blend of speed and strength in recent years. I have no doubt that guys like Halfthor and Brian Shaw are stronger than Martin's but they don't have the same combo he does. You will continue to see "smaller" (tho they still weigh 350ish) guys on the podium.
