I think realistically you are 1 year away
BYU played a lot of freshmen last year. They made a lot of progress but you are still an overall young team.
Utah this year is a very upperclassmen with quite a bit of nfl talent.
BYU has some very solid players but it's asking a lot for them to pull the upset this year in game 1. That being said in '20 Utah will be young and BYU will be mostly upperclassmen. Looking at it as objectively as my red goggles will allow I'd predict Utah this year but BYU the next two years after that.
I understand why you guys want to win so bad this year, especially after last year's game, but I'd hedge your bets on next year.
