Another new season of UK Top Gear... Another new set of hosts.

Chris Harris - I've always been a HUGE Chris Harris fans since his days on /Drive. You have to respect a guy that Ferrari baned because he gave an honest review on their cars ("How Ferrari Spins"). I'm glad they kept him around... His sense of humor seemed to blend better with the two new guys.

Andrew Flintoff - He comes across as an honest, down to earth guy. There is one segment where he talks about his mistakes with money and his carrier (he was a professional Cricket player) when he was young. He tied it all into his first car (a Porche Boxter) and what it represented to him. It didn't seem scripted.. and you could tell it was an honest, from the heart story.

Patty McGuinness - The older guy of the group (however, not much older). Seems to have a great sense of humor and doesn't feel like he's 'Acting' (my issue with the past few generations of presenters). Takes a while to get used to his STRONG accent 🙂

Overall, I liked the new hosts and this first episode. As I said, the new(ish) group of guys really seem to mesh and have natural chemistry. If they can keep building on that chemistry this series should be much better than the past.

(I liked Joey Tribbiani, but he always seemed to be 'acting too hard' and always out of place.)
