Solution where everybody wins: hold the opening game in Qatar and then have the
rest of the games played to the United States, where they should have been in the first place.
And since we’d hate to have the rotation thrown off by four years, we’ll just host games again with Mexico and Canada in 2026 to keep things on track.

The silver lining here is that this tournament will still be just 32 teams.

Why is this a good thing?

Expansion to 48 dilutes the product a little bit, but at least it'll guarantee the US makes it.

I like it. I love the World Cup and wouldn't mind it expanding just a little.

That's fine that you like it. but don't like this goal.

I suck at responding to the right post.

Can't tell you how much I celebrated that goal. It was glorious.

And Mexico too. Which but for the great US of A would NOT have the cycle before.

The US wasn't doing Mexico a favor. Neither was Mexico choosing "not to reciprocate".

That video, which is pretty cool, doesn't back up what you said.

You need more of your "data" it seems.

Accidental magnanimity is not magnanimity. Also, what you added was your opinion.

Spin it all you want. But you know what I'm saying. Even if you don't admit it.

I mentioned the celebrations. And the USA has a reason to be triumphalist.

Nobody has good reasons to be triumphalist when up by so much against a clearly overmatched opponent.

Talk to the British pundit then. It was her opinion.

Except you are the one that posted it to back up the "but we're winners" idea.

I look forward to the US hosting the WC in 2022 and 2026!
