Freedom of choice for players should be a sacrosanct principle, particularly in a league that claims to value meritocracy. Looking at the roster of NBA owners, it's hard to believe that these billionaire proprietors, many of them self-made, don't subscribe to that virtue.
Yes but they get paid millions and millions of dollars. And I hate break it this idiot, but if you are in the military, federal law enforcement and many jobs they decide where you will work. So don't think I have any sympathy for these guys.
They could always sign a shorter contract and hope they are that awesome when the contract ends.
