BYU passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach Aaron Roderick said Zach Wilson "has had no setbacks so far" and is fully on schedule. "My only worry about him is him trying to do too much."
BYU safety Dayan Ghanwoloku said there is an emphasis this offseason on talking less and performing more. Called it a "quiet confidence" that will show up during season.
Sitake said his recruiting pitch to BYU has evolved throughout his tenure. "My first few years, I didn't stress enough how hard school [academics] is here," he said. "I've been more up front on how hard it is here. We've lost some recruits because of it."
Roderick said Jaren Hall and Baylor Romney are such good athletes that they could start for BYU at other positions. Said Romney "has a chance to play here some day" at quarterback.
