Jazz Scenario (TOTALLY HYPOTHETICAL)
Lets assume that the Jazz trade for Conley and are able to do so without giving up Favors as was reported by Tony Jones yesterday (some combination of Exum, Korver, Crowder, 2019 pick, and whatever other spare change...er I mean Tony Bradley).

Let's also assume that the Jazz are able to work a sign and trade for Horford (giving up Favors) where they sign Horford to a four year contract with a decreasing salary that starts at about where Favors is now (which is probably at or slightly above Horford's market for that length of contract at his age). He is 33 and retires at 37. The C's may do this because they get an asset in a solid defensive center in Favs. The Jazz get a player very similar to favors (Forward/Center that can play defense both inside and on the perimeter) that can actually space the floor with good shooting.

I get that the Jazz would be getting really old and the later side of Horford and Conley's contracts may not be great.

However, the Jazz start the year with the following lineup:

Conley
Mitchell
Ingles
Horford
Gobert

This would be the best shot at a championship the Jazz could see for a long time. Probably a 2 year window.

I'd do it if it were possible. Not sure it would be.
