These guys are the real deal. With a very, very small exception, none of you have much idea what it's like to be the CEO of a D1 college team, especially a cash cow like BYU Football.

Reality Today

* Academics are tougher than the 70's and 80's
* Missions are tough. Tough to manage and tough to deal with what you get when you come back as far as condition and desire...
* Honor code. This is not LaVell's HC. This is a group of grinders in the HC office with access to social media, etc.
* Members who are not supportive of the program.
* Much more informed athletes and parents of opportunities, programs, etc.

Kalani is magnificent. I have heard stories of things he does that 99% are not aware of and he is the closest thing to LaVell I have seen and I grew up in his neighborhood and knew him.Kalani is under enormous pressure but I believe in him and his process and the program.

This will be a stellar year!! Go Cougs!!!!
