Suns trade in terms of impact. I know I’m a homer and all but Conley will make the whole team better just like Nash did for the Suns.

Teams won’t be able to cheat off of the pg position anymore and Mitchell is going to get a lot more space. Ingalls will get more open looks. Also the pick and roll is going to be deadly with Gobert. They won’t be able to put an extra guy down low to cover Rudy and Conley is deadly scoring off the pick and roll. He has one of the best mid range / floater games in the nba, he doesn’t turn the ball over. He is always in control and is very patient with the ball. It’s going to be pick your poison every possession in the pick and roll, Rudy dunk, Conley floater, or kick out for an Ingalls three. Everyone’s game is going to step up with Conley at point. The defense won’t suffer either with Conley on the floor.

Ever since I watched Conley take it to the Spurs in the playoffs and duel and arguably outplay Curry in the playoffs a couple of years back he’s been one of my favorite non Jazz players. Here’s hoping he stays healthy because he’s a special player.
